Laguna Woods Yacht Club Wins Spirit of the Jubilee Award! The Laguna Woods Yacht Club had a standout showing in Dana Point Harbor’s Golden Anniversary Holiday Boat Parade, earning co-winner of the prestigious Spirit of the Jubilee Award This award recognizes the best interpretation of the parade’s 50th Anniversary “Golden Jubilee” theme. With more than 80 boats participating, LWYC proudly tied for the parade’s top themed honor. This achievement reflects what makes LWYC special. When our members come together, great things happen. This year, over 20 members devoted their time and creativity to designing, building, and transforming our beloved S.V. Hiatus into an award-winning celebration on the water. It was a memorable experience for everyone involved—and a perfect example of the camaraderie, enthusiasm, and fun that define LWYC. We hope you’ll join us next year!
