Join the Laguna Woods Yacht Club for “Catalina Day”
Thursday, October 16

Set sail with us for a memorable day on beautiful Catalina Island! The Laguna Woods Yacht Club invites you to join our “Catalina Day” outing on Thursday, October 16. We’ll depart in the morning aboard the Catalina Flyer from Newport Beach — a scenic and relaxing ride across the Pacific with fellow club members and guests.

Once in Avalon, you’ll have the day to explore and enjoy the island at your own pace. Stroll along charming Crescent Avenue, visit the historic Casino building, or take a guided golf cart tour to panoramic island viewpoints. For the adventurous, ziplining through canyon ridges or hiking the Garden to Sky Trail are great options.

You can also enjoy lunch at one of Avalon’s harborside restaurants or browse the unique island shops for souvenirs.

We’ll return to Newport Beach in the late afternoon, refreshed, relaxed, and full of island stories to share.

CLICK HERE to begin the registration process and book your round trip on the Catalina Flyer.  On the registration web page and by clicking HERE, you can go to a special web page where you can learn more about our Catalina Day.  You will also find a listing of Catalina restaurants as well as a link describing the many tours and activities that are available on the island.
