THE SV HIATUS

The Laguna Woods Yacht Club fully owns one sailing vessel, the Hiatus, a Catalina 30. She is a fiberglass sloop and is berthed at Dana Point Harbor Marina, Dock F13. Members may participate in unlimited day sailing at no charge, subject to availability. Annual membership fees and club fund raising activities cover the full cost of berthing and maintaining our boat. The boat receives regular routine and preventative maintenance, and is fully covered by standard Marine Insurance.

The Club has a procedure for qualifying duly experienced individuals to skipper the Hiatus. Only these individuals are eligible to assume the responsibility of taking the vessel on a sail. Only club members who have signed an insurance liability waiver may sail aboard her.
