Join us for our July 7th meeting, where we are fortunate enough to have our member, Chris Mayer, speak about how to use a sextant. At the April 2025 monthly meeting of the Laguna Woods Yacht Club, the club was honored with a donation from Inge Maranto of her late husband’s vintage sextant. Described as “U.S. Navy Sextant N 12968,” which belonged to the late Dr. T. Robert Kendall, Physical Oceanographer, PBY Pilot, LA County Certified SCUBA Instructor #10, and Underwater Photographer. Inge is a longtime friend of our commodore, Gaye. You can get more information about this sextant in the May issue of the Main Sheet.
