Light-bodied red wines don’t get more popular than Pinot Noir, a delicious wine, famous for being finicky. The pinot noir grape’s thin skin make it challenging to grow because of the tightly-clustered grapes. It also tends to have low tannins vs other red wines, making it less astringent and popular with white wine drinkers as well.
